“Where Did My Confidence Go?” – Rebuilding Self-Belief During Menopause part 3 of 6

“Where Did My Confidence Go?” – Rebuilding Self-Belief During Menopause part 3 of 6

I used to walk into meetings with a sense of ease. I spoke without second-guessing myself. I remembered names, deadlines, passwords.

Then suddenly…
I didn’t.

I’d find myself staring at my screen, forgetting why I opened that tab. Or questioning my decisions in ways I never used to. And worst of all? I didn’t feel like me anymore.

It wasn’t just hot flushes or broken sleep. It was the quiet erosion of something deeper: my confidence.

😔 Navigating the Unseen Changes of Menopause

Most menopause checklists talk about night sweats and hormone levels. But few mention the creeping doubt. The self-consciousness. The way brain fog can make you feel... invisible.

It’s not in your imagination. It’s not weakness. It’s biology.

Declining oestrogen affects serotonin and dopamine, your mood and motivation messengers. Progesterone drops can increase anxiety. Testosterone decline? That’s your drive and energy.

When all of that shifts at once, it’s no wonder confidence takes a hit.

💡 So What Can We Do?

This part is important:
You can absolutely feel good again. You can rebuild confidence, not by pretending nothing’s changed, but by honouring what has and learning how to support yourself in new ways.

Here’s what’s helped me, and many of the women I work with:

🌿 1. Aromatherapy for Emotional Support

Certain essential oils are like calm in a bottle. My MUTO blend was created to soothe the nervous system and support emotional clarity.

💧 Use the rollerball when you feel a wave of doubt or overwhelm
💧 Massage the body oil in after a shower, let it be a daily ritual of grounding and care

It’s not magic. But it feels like it sometimes.

🔮 2. Energy Healing to Clear Emotional Blockages

Sometimes the confidence loss is more than chemical—it’s energetic. Through gentle Reiki and chakra work, I help women release old patterns and reconnect with their inner power.

This is the work beneath the work, the quiet re-alignment that reminds you: You are whole. You are wise. You are enough.

3. Create a Confidence Ritual

Here’s a simple practice:

🌀 Apply MUTO to your wrists
🌀 Close your eyes and breathe deeply
🌀 Say: “I trust myself. I honour this stage. I am safe to shine.”

It’s small—but it matters. Rituals anchor us. Especially when everything else feels like it’s changing.

💬 If You’re Feeling Off — You’re Not Alone

This season can shake your foundations. But with the right tools, it can also rebuild them stronger.

You’re not less than you were.
You’re just… becoming something new.

And I’m right here with you.
